Research

My research centers on the study of the structure of the universe on large scales. This includes:

the symmetries of the universe on the largest scales, namely, the question of whether or not the universe is homogeneous and isotropic;
the nature of gravitation on cosmological scales;
relativistic (lightcone) effects in the observations of large scale structure;
strong gravitational lensing in a clumpy universe.
